Founded in Paris in 2010 by Yann Weber, Antidote pioneered a radically different way of making a fashion magazine: each issue is shot entirely by a single photographer, built around one strong theme — Earth, Pride, Freedom, Survival, Desire — that runs through every page, from casting to text. A mixed, inclusive and gender-free publication, Antidote places fashion at the heart of a wider societal conversation, touching on ecology, LGBTQI+ communities, identity and the drive for change, with casting choices that deliberately move away from industry norms — from Zahia to Angèle, alongside unknown faces scouted from Paris to Tehran. A magazine with no reference point but its own visual identity, now a media space in its own right: print, digital, parties and collaborations.
