The magazine that reinvented men's publishing. Founded in Amsterdam in 2005 by Gert Jonkers and Jop van Bennekom — following their cult fanzine Butt — Fantastic Man introduced a tone and art direction radically different from the men's magazines of its time: pared-back layouts, largely in black and white, in-depth interviews with figures as varied as Thom Browne and Spike Jonze. Published twice a year and awarded the prestigious D&AD Award for Best Magazine Design as early as 2008, it now stands as an essential reference in contemporary men's style.
